Dr. Nihir B. Shah

Dr. Nihir Shah received his undergraduate training in India. Subsequently he attended medical school at Baroda Medical College, MS University, Vadodara, India. He attended University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey Medical School for internal medicine residency.

Dr. Ramzan M. Zakir

Dr. Ramzan M. Zakir is native from New Jersey and attended Rutgers College. He completed both his internship and residency at UMDNJ- New Jersey Medical School. He is an emerging leader in Interventional Cardiology and is invited faculty at numerous international conferences.


Cristina Valdez, ACNP-BC

Cristina (Tina) Valdez is a New Jersey native and received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at Seton Hall University.  Her professional career includes experiences in bedside critical care and cardiac catheterization labs.  Most recently, she has worked in the cardiac catheterization lab at Morristown Medical Center, where she was well-involved in structural heart procedures.  Tina continued to work full-time while she received her Master’s Degree in Nursing at Seton Hall University where she graduated with honors.  

Tina’s professional nursing activities include memberships in the American Association of Critical Care Nurses for which she is certified as a critical care nurse and board certified in the American Association of Critical Care Nurses as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.  She is also a member of the American Nurses Association and was inducted into the Gamma Nu chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International in 2016.  As an undergraduate she served as President of Alpha Phi where their philanthropy was Women’s Cardiac Care.
